community of cloistered nuns.
Monastery of Fitero.
Cistercian monastery abandoned during the disentailment of 1835 and partially
restored. The main reredos is considered the best XVI-century example in
Navarra.
Monastery of la Oliva.
Two km from Carcastillo. Cistercian monastery dating from 1134. After a history
of vicissitudes, the monks returned to the monastery in 1927. The church is
considered one of the best examples of Cistercian architecture in Europe.

Green Route of the Tarazonica. Old railway line joining Tudela and Tarazona. The 22-km. route runs along a
gentle slope in the valley of the River Queiles. The ground surface is varied
and only open to cyclists and walkers. Well signposted and prepared for public
access.
